Great overview about how difficult it is for adults to acknowledge their giftedness. In the research I did prior to my book, 25% of the respondents indicated they never thought they were gifted until they had a gifted child and could see themselves differently. Also, it's amazing that you reached out to Steve Allen! I imagine he took in your challenge and might have viewed himself differently.

Maybe. But even if he realized he was gifted, it was important not to mislead “the not sures” or “the confused” about what giftedness is. That why understanding the relativity of giftedness and the levels matter, too. I’m so glad when you share, Gail.Thank you!

Deborah, Best one, ever. This feels like an "eat the elephant" challenge. I will think on this a day to see how I move this article into a series for our readers, plus work in the book promotion in a way so subtle there is no suspicion that Amazon is paying me a nickle for each book sold.
